From December 11 to 13, 2024, the partners of the Erasmus+ ENCORE project gathered in Patras, Greece, for their fifth project meeting, hosted by the Hellenic Open University.
The discussions focused on advancing the final stages of the project, with key topics including the external validation of the ENCORE approach, staff development initiatives, and the open recognition of skills.
Representatives from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers, and ADECCO shared insights from pilot courses conducted during the project. These findings underscored the success of training programs designed to equip educators with the knowledge and tools to apply the ENCORE approach and platform effectively.
The consortium dedicated significant time to planning the final project activities, set to be completed in the coming months. Additionally, the team reviewed the Open Recognition platform and developed strategies to enhance engagement among both learners and educators.
The meeting concluded with a draft agenda for the final project meeting, which will include a conference in May 2025 in Pisa, Italy. This event will serve as a platform to showcase and disseminate the project's achievements and outcomes.
